Just got sprint with a fair and fexable plan. I do some what of traveling on the metro here in northern va. I notice that if i switch the roaming from Sprint to Analog i get service down in the subway. If i get the add-on Free and clear America for $5 can i use my phone while on the metro?? thanks

If there is enough signal, yes and with no extra charges.

Just make sure 50% of your calls are from the Sprint Network.

Hi;

Roaming analog is a stronger signal, you can use it without a plan, you will just pay roaming charges.

Roaming plans are specific for your coverage area, as a "general" rule F&C Amer $5 allows no roaming charges as long as your roaming minutes are less than half of your total minutes used.

For example, you have used 650 minutes so far this month, 324 of those minutes can be roaming.

Notice I'm talking about minutes "used" not total minutes in your plan!

Call customer service and get the details for your CSA when you add the plan, then there will be no surprises.
