Hey everyone,
Im considering applying at the sprint call center here in town, Im currently working for verizon wireless but think i might want something new, I was just wondering if there is ok money in that and what exactly you do. Do you have to do alot of cold calling to customers or do you basically answer the phone all day? Any info would be awesome 😁

It really depends on what type of call center you are applying for: i.e. Care, Retention, Sales, Tech Support, Finance. 99% of the departments are incoming calls only.

I know one thing.

Verizon pays more, and has better benfits then Sprint.

Good Luck.

Sister works retentions with Sprint and makes quite a bit more than her roommate that works at Verizon customer service. My sister makes like 11.20 an hour but brings home bi weekly bonuses averaging 1000.00 (after taxes) and her roommate works for verizon at 12.00 an hour.

They are actually very good. Not the normal call center environment. The benefits are amazing if you land in a corporate call center (not sure about vendor sites). I would go for it. It is not as easy to get on now, but if you have experience it is good.
