... it's been out for a while now but this is "official" from BlackBerry. Indulge in all the html email goodness Sprint users !!! 😈
PLEASE READ the comments section if you do run into any problems as most questions are already answered. REMEMBER this needs to be installed through IE with the BlackBerry software on a comp NOT OTA with your Berry.

Blackberry OS 4.5 has not "officially" been released for Sprint yet. From what I've heard the software is ready and good to go but Sprint wants a simultaneous launch with the BB 8350i for Nextel. Both were set to launch Dec. 1, but the 8350i got pushed back (therefore OS 4.5 got pushed back as well). The new TENTATIVE launch date for the 8350i is Dec. 15. So more than likely that's when OS 4.5 will be released as well.
Note: Although the 8350i WILL be shipping with OS 4.6, Sprint is releasing OS 4.5 for its current BB lineup NOT OS 4.6 (If I'm not mistaken, OS 4.6 requires different/newer hardware (eg. Bold, Pearl 8220, Curve 8900, etc.) to run and the current lineup's hardware cannot support OS 4.6.)
