Just stopped by the local Best Buy store to inquire about the HTC Touch Pro and much to my surprise, it was on sale! ๐
They got 8 in stock today and I was the third one to purchase one. So if you're interested, check your local Best Buy.

It's a horrid phone. The touch interface is awful. The actual Sprint Cor stores have had it for awhile.

You must work for T-mobile. I know you have not yet received this phone a while ago. I work directly for Sprint and we just got them in two days ago. They are launching in the Corperate retail stores Nov. 2ND. The Diamond has been out for a month and I love it. The Touch pro will be the best phone Sprint has ever had. So if you worked for Sprint you would not be talking smack about their products. I am pulling your card. If you do work for Sprint you will soon be promoted to customer.

calm down there "jumper of conclusions". I thought the HTC touch pro was the Diamond. My mistake.
If it's anything LIKE the Diamond's touch screen, it's gonna blow.
I used a Diamond at a cor store a week ago. It's horrid. I never said I sold for sprint. I don't. I used to, but I was selling alltel and t-mobile beside it. Now I work at a Best Buy where Sprint isn't offered, but we're working on getting it.
I'll pull your card: You're a turd.

is the battery beter then the diamond?I hated the diamond
...
How long did you have the Diamond? I don't see how the battery life will be any different since they are running virtually the same software and are basically the same hardware. The thing with the Diamond is that it needs a couple days to learn the battery. The first 2 days my battery life sucked, but then after it was great easily getting a few days with moderate use. Keep in mind also, the first few days the phone is still setting itself up since it is a windows smartphone.
Now if you are on the phone alot, thats a different story. A tip though, if you are on the phone for a long time the headphones help to increase talk time since the phone isn't using up the speaker.
Now the Pro will probably be the same way.
Keep in min...

I agree with you there, the pro's battery life was poor the first few days, but then it got better, and by better I mean it may last me the whole day. As to your beliefs about the causes... ๐ I also noticed that closing touchflo improved it dramatically.

๐คจ Ad what do you believe powers the headphones? Magic? It's the phone.
...
No duh, the phone powers the headphones. Heres a secret though, it takes less energy to power the headphones to create adequate sound fo a conversation then the speaker in the headset. I didnt say its gonna make your phone last eons longer, just said it improves the talk time a bit.
and closing touch flow will help the battery a bit, but many people are reporting that the first few days battery life is poor due to not the actual battery life being poor but the phone learning the battery (and also the phone being just started up is actually doing a lot of programming and setup behind the scenes which eats up some battery.) but the phone is learning how to read the battery life in the battery. ๐คฃ
