Is anyone happy with Sprint?

I would like to know if anyone here is happy with having Sprint as their wireless provider. I have read a ton of reviews on the company and almost all of them have been nothing but negative. Any feedback would be helpful.

Finally! Someone has said something positive about them. I have AT&T right now and am considering Sprint as my provider later on. The plans are within my price range and what they come with is pretty good. 🙂

I have a question. I have a family member who lives in the mountains and with Verizon, she never got a signal. Does Sprint have a signal in the area where she lives?

just remember, that if she is in a heavily wooded lot or snow bound area, her signal may not be as strong as the coverage map says.

I think her area is a heavily-wooded place. Thanks for that information. I'll definitely keep it in mind.

I've had Sprint for over five years as my carrier. I went with them for the better data services they had. I have stayed because they continue to have better data services. If coverage is not an issue, then it comes down to price and extra features. They are on par or cheaper than VZW and AT&T so it works for me.

Your question in another post, about the mountains- mountains and wireless signals do not mix. Your family member should ask friends and neighbors around him or her what carrier works best at that specific place. You can try the online coverage tools, but I have found those to be very much on the optimistic side of things for all carriers.

I'm glad to hear you have had good luck with Sprint so far. As I stated in a reply to another post, I have read almost nothing but negative things about Sprint in the areas the people were living in. I have looked at the coverage maps and every carrier: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Sprint have great coverage in my area. It looks like I would get coverage in the mountain area where my family member lives, too. My family member has AT&T and it is working very well for her.

What attracts me to Sprint is their prices and features that come with the plans. I absolutely LOVE the unlimited nights and weekends feature.

That is a good suggestion. It all comes down to what is best for you in the area where you are at.

I had tmobile for 5 years, when i came down to newport news va it was fine untill i started working in williamburg-no signal. Whats a phone worth with no signal? So I ended up having to let go of them even though i really didn't want to.

My other options were Sprint, At&T, Verizon, alltel, and Ntelos. Most of my friends were from sprint but I also had some spread out on the other carriers. I asked who was happy with what.

At the end I wanted to pick Verizon, but they were just to expensive! so i ended up with Alltel and to tell you the truth other than the minimal phone selection i love my service and have had no problems. Sprint h...

The biggest advantage Verizon has over Sprint is perception, other than that Sprint kicks verizon ass in every way. Any Yes I'm very happy with Sprint, have been for years!!

Im very happy with my sprint service, it works where I need it to, where other providers did not. Custmer service isnt the best, but I have only had to call them personally once because I pay my bills on time and have a plan that suits my needs.

out of the 300 or so customers i signed up over the last year, 5 tell me they can say they are honestly not happy with sprint's or my service. some have returned their phones due to lack of coverage and many of those have been able to swap to a different model and get a good enough signal to want to keep their phones

My wife and I couldn't be happier!

We both are on the $30 SERO plans and absolutely love it! You can't find a better deal then the SERO plans.

I use the unlimited data all the time, the only thing I wish Sprint would do is install some EVDO towers near me.

Eventually EVDO will come to Sheboygan, WI...I hope! 😁

Happy to hear that you and your wife are happy with Sprint. As I stated in a response to a previous post, I really like the plans that Sprint has to offer. However, I wish that the unlimited nights and weekends did not start at a certain time.

I have been with sprint for a number of years now. The only reason I have thought about switching is because I have not been to enamored with their phone selection as of late. The service has been great for me and nobody can come close to beating the deal I get. Make sure you look into discounts based on where you work. My fiancee is an RN and we get 23% off our monthly bill. The difference in coverage between Alltel, Sprint and Verizon is very minimal, but with Sprint you get much more for your money.

Thanks for the information, wri0010. I actually noticed that (you get much more for your money) when I was looking at the plans on the Sprint web site.
