IN CASE I DON'T LIKE THE LG 260...

I was thinking about getting the LG Musiq as the alternative. Is there an extended battery for this phone? I prefer the Sanyo DLX as a 2nd choice BUT it doesn't come in black. I love pink but the color pink they used for the Sanyo is ugly. I wish they would have gone brighter like the Samsung M510...and does this phone have an extended battery? I do a lot of texting n checking email and that does use a lot of power. I called SERO customer service last night and the rep told me that the LG 260 probably won't be available for purchase until maybe mid to late November. I asked if that phone has an extended battery and he said that should come with one???

I seriously doubt it will come with an extended battery. I think like usual the sprint CC rep either doesn't know what they are talking about or they are just telling you what you want to here .

Yeah I know. I went online and searched for an extended battery for the Muziq and the Samsung M510 but they didn't have them. Are they only available through telesales and the Sprint Corporate stores?

None of the phones come with extended batteries. You can purchace an exteneded for the Muziq. Most of the stores can Direct Ship it. The LG260 is not power vision so it doesn't have the exact same features as the Muziq. I was going to get it but now i'm not because it's not power vision

I would advise waiting for the Muziq to lainch in pink! its not like the ugly Pink like the Sanyos, but have you ever seen the pink faceplate on the LG Fusic? well its EXACTLY the same color! BUT I hear its a Best Buy exclusive so it won't be out nationwide till November 4th...and the LG Rumor, I HIGHLY doubt it'll come with an extended battery. the battery on that is way good, so I don't see why it'll come with a factory Extended Battery ya know? but that's just what I think 😉

Well the Muziq has been out for a few months now and they do not have an extended battery for it. Which really sucks cause standby time on such a cool phone is horrible. I wish they would come out with an extended battery for it. I'd buy it in hopes to get a longer standby time hopefully another day or 2.
So if one of your decisions is based on extended battery availability the Muziq does not have that option.

You know what? I don't understand why Sprint doesn't request extended batteries for these phones especially for power vision phones. 😡 Oh and you know what, on the Sprint website in accessories you can buy an extended battery door for the Samsung M510 but no extended battery??? 😕 Now the Sanyo phones do have extened batteries. I would love the Sanyo DLX but it doesn't come in black. I don't want another silver phone and as I mentioned before I don't like that color pink or the champagne. I know I sound really picky but I want a phone that Im going to be happy with.

I agree unfortuantly all the phones I like have crappy battery life. The DLX I passed up cause of the small external screen and the slippery keys.

I am content with the Muziq would love it if I could get an extended battery for it.

I guess I'm stuck with it for now.
Good luck on finding your phone.

The keys are slippery? For real? I thought the Katana had raised keys? Anyway, I read in the Specs that talk time on the Muziq is 4 hrs. Is that true? Also, how are the keys for texting? Does it freeze up? Im asking because I had a Razr and in my opinion not a great phone for a person who does a lot of texting message. My phone froze a lot in the middle of a text. 😕

I went with the Muziq cause the keys were easier to text with than a DLX (gf has a DLX).
So easy to text with that I do it driving.
Far as battery life goes. I've gotten almost 4 hours straight talk time out of it. 4:22 and 4:28 I believe.
CNET review also shows 4:22.....
What sucks is standby time is like 2 days.

No problems texting either.

I went to Sprint.com to check it out. Nice looking little phone. I like the white but it will get dirty easy...especially if wearing makeup and you have the phone against your face. I'll go with the black one. I hope I will like it once I purchase it. How many times can you switch out a handset within the 30 day trial period? When I had TMo I changed my phone like 3 or 4 times within 14 days! 🤣
