Need Advice - Existing T-Mobile Customer Looking for New Phone Recommendation

Hi out there. I am seeking advice as to what would be a good phone to purchase (I currently have a T68i which is starting to crap out on me after a couple of years.). I am an existing T-Mobile customer so am told I am eligible for "upgrade", whatever that means!

I am looking for a phone which (1) has decent to good battery life, (2) has world roaming capabilities, and (3) is a good, solid phone at a decent price.

I do not necessarily need bells and whistles (no camera necessary), but just want a good all-around phone. I have looked at the Samsung X-105, and the Nokia 6610 so far. Also not sure if there's anything new coming out shortly that is worth waiting for (and which is not overly expensive).

Any advice would be greatly appre...

Unsupported Nokia 6820 on T-Mobile?

I am a new T-Mobile customer and I just got a Nokia 3595. Now I want to get a Nokia 6820, however. I'm trying to figure out if it will work with my T-Mobile account.

Is it possible to get the Nokia 6820 and transfer my service to it? If so how do I do it? I'm technically inclined and don't mind doing a little configuring if that is what it takes.

Thanks in advance! 😁

T-zones ringtones

I am getting the moto v600 soon. It says it has 4 Mp3 Ringtones. I found out you can download the ringtones for .99 cents from T-Zones. But can you only download FOUR ringtones or more than FOUR. Cuz I would like to put more than FOUR ringtones on my phone. I heard it also had a 5MB storage or something. So I'm guessing you can download MORE THAN FOUR ringtones. But I just want to be sure. Plus does anyone know if some of the tones are free?

phone question

I'm kind of new to the cellular company researching thing. I've had Tmobile/Voicestream for years and I'm not looking to go anywhere else. I've been looking at other companies with my boyfriend whose contract expires next week. I was told by the cingular and att rep that they can special order any phone they don't carry in there store that works on their network.

Now I like Tmobile's phones in the UK, and I was wondering if anyone had imported a phone through tmobile or special ordered one. I've been waiting 2 years to get a new phone and my poor v60 cannot last much longer, but I really dislike all of the US tmobile phones.

Thanks

Mobile-to-Mobile for Prepaid "EasySpeak"

Hello again, all:

I'm having difficulty getting the level of precision I want with the search engine here. Putting "mobile-to-mobile" in quotes in the search give me nothing but pages without the phrase even in it. So I apologize in advance if the following question has been answered already.

My question is, if my friend has T-Mobile regular service, and I get EasySpeak service, will my friend be charged for calling me or vice versa, or will the mobile-to-mobile that he has kick in so that the call will be free for him?

Thanks to all who may help!

Question about early termination fee.

This is a question probably for T-mobile reps. I have been with T-mobile since October of 2003. On January 2nd I got another line of service so I could add my wife, so I got the family plan. The signal has not been good where I live ( 30 miles north of Austin, Texas.) So I would like to cancel my service contract early. Now, I am thinking that since the time when I bought the second phone for the second line was January 2nd, that this is probably my date next year that my contract will expire, right? If so, that leaves around 7 months until it expires, which is way too long to put up with all of these dropped calls and overall bad reception. My question is this: Since I have 2 lines on one contract, will I be charged twice, which is $200x2=$...

Secure Mail Connector desktop program???

I had something I downloaded from the T-Mobile site that allowed me to access my MS Outlook mail on my phone (via TZones). My office upgraded OS and I lost the program. I can't find it on TMobile's site to save my life.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and how to get it??

Many thanks

Which phones support manual call forwarding?

I was wondering if there are any phones that allow me to forward calls manually to a specified number. I.E., I am at home and do not want to use any of my whenever minutes, whenever I see an incoming call I would like to have an option of pressing a button and it would forward the call to the home number. I know most phones have the unavailable call forwading feature but since I am not the only person who uses the home line I can't allow it to forward all my missed calls to the home number.

E-Mail without Data Plan or add on?

I have a family shared plan, and 2 of the lines are on blackberry 6230's that I bought off ebay. So they are just phone plans with 500 text messages/mo. I can send email through text messages, but when I try to "send email" it wont sent, it just says "pending". Is there a way to get the blackberrys to send email without getting a data plan?

Samsung e715 indoor reception issue???

Does anyone else have problems getting indoor reception on the e715?

My old Nokia 8265 w/ AT&T used to get great indoors at work and at home. My new e715 has really spotty indoor reception. 😡

I don't know if the problem is T-Mobile service or the internal antenna design (however, my Nokia had an interanl antenna also and no problems).

Thanks.

T-Mobile in So. Cal

I am undecided between T-Mobile and Nextel. I know TMo is more sensible, and allows me to travel overseas with the same phone. Any one have any thoughts on these two for use in Caifornia?

T-mobile or Verizon in NYC area???

I currently use Sprint and am debating between
T-mobile and Verizon.I've read better things about Verizon but T-Mobile gives you more minutes for the same price and has a better selection of phones.
So how is the service in NYC area?
What's the difference between T-zones and unlimited internet?
Can you access msn hotmail thru t-zones?
If you have a phone that supports email clients
would you need t-zones?
thanks
