When I worked for VZW in 2000, we charged the same fee then it went away. Just another reason TMO is Superior.

Tmobile charges $5 to make a payment over the phone now. Free online, in store, or through automated system though.

They've been charging it for quite a while. The tender used doesn't matter, but it ONLY applies for payments made with a live rep. Any other method is still free.

So on Verizon's automated system, dialing 611 to make my payment and following the prompts, I'm still safe?
