Anyone know what the bugs are related to?

Out of curiousity, has there even been any understanding of what is causing the battery drainage? Obviously "bugs", but does anyone have any further information as to what aspect of iOS 5 is causing this?

This doesn't account for the non-4S iOS 5 devices that are experiencing the same problems. Nice try, though.

Are you sure? Are you sure that all the same features aren't included in all version of ios5, including Siri support, but not the Actual program? Becuase if that is true, then it does account for the ios5 problems. Also, most of the iphone only features ARE present on all ios devices, just hidden, meaning they are still present, and possibly causing problems.

I'm not saying this is true or not.

But it has been floating around that there is some speculation the cause on some iPhone 4S's might be the proximity sensor being constantly polled.

Interestingly enough the issues with power don't even end at the battery.

There have also been reported issues with charging times. Both before and after the update.

Personally i think that if this problem isn't fixed soon we might see government intervention eventually and apple would have dug their own grave. (no pun intended)
