Another limited "unlimited" plan

This is the kind of thing the FCC or the FTC should be coming down on hard. UNLIMITED is not a vague word! Either there are limits on how much and in what manner a service may be used or their aren't. This is esp. true with 4G starting to go mainstream. A 5gb cap is a joke on that kind of connection. Now, having stated these obvious truths...this is probably the best plan anyone could hope for IF there are some decent phones or you can bring your own. If you can get T-MO and your mostly about data and txt, then you'd be crazy not to jump on this.

It's quite simple. The AMOUNT of data is unlimited. The SPEED is what's limited, so the claims are not false. By your definition, there's no such thing as UNLIMITED data because all technologies have a limit on how much speed they can provide.

The fact is the advertises know what words are completely legal. For example, saying your product is the BEST is fine. Saying your product is better than another could cause trouble. As was mentioned by crood...unlimited data not unlimited 4G speed.

What is so hard for people to understand about this?

It gets unlimited data...at least at Edge speeds..

However, the first 5GB is at 4G speeds.

No overage on data.

It is not saying the customer gets 5GB of data and then it is shut off...

How does this compare to other prepaid?...well, how many other prepaid services offer 4G speeds on their devices?

(yes I posted this in a similar thread, but seems like people can not understand this point)

Man, anybody knows that these days, all you need to do is the following.

$30.00 for 100 voice minutes, unlimited messaging, and Unlimited* data.

*Unlimited edge data after 5 GB of 4G speeds.

seems legal to me, and really, not at all vague.
