Those places also sub-contract you so that if you change your plan within the first 6mo. w/o using their services you'll have to fork out up to $250 (most of the third party contracts are like that.)

Not technically true. It's true thru most online sites but not at RS. If the service is cancelled within 90 days and the phone(s) isn't returned the customer will be charged for the unactivated cost of the phone (minus what they've already paid) as well as any pertaining ETF's from the provider. It's all in print on the digital contract the account holder signs when they purchase a contracted phone.

So you say that radioshack doesn't have a sub-contract and then go on to say that radio shack has a sub-contract.

Great argument there.

Radio Shack wouldn't be the ones charging for ETF or the phones unactivated price. That carrier would send them the bill. We state that as well. There is nothing RS charges for, its thourgh the Carrier itself. Radio shack is also known for better prices and no mail in rebates. 😛
