Can you explain why this is being reported as news?
As this TMoNews.com article shows, T-Mobile has been selling these since November 2010: http://bit.ly/nA4VjZ

So why is this being reported as new?

I work for T-mobile and we have offered Micro SIMs at T-Mobile stores since last year, yeah.

All this does is allow customers to use an iPhone on our network, nothing more, nothing less. Everybody should stop reading into this as something more, because it isnt.

I think it's more the fact that we are publicly acknowledging the act that we have them available. Before, it was more of a background thing.
