Does Samsung make a single phone that isn't crap?

No.

They've got a few reasonable phones. Apple targets Samsung because they're universally available on each carrier with a competing operating system. What we're witnessing is the old Apple vs. PC days at work. By the time Apple realizes they made a mistake going the "exclusive" route it's too late.

Apple is nothing more than a bunch of bullys on the playground. Just because someone else is making a phone that is a touchscreen slab style phone does not mean they are copying you. Look past the outside of the phone and you'll see that they are very different.

Look inside the phone and you'll see a lot of oddly strange similarities. Look at a Galaxy S phone compared to an iPhone and then compare it to every other Android phone. Every other android phone has it's own thing going on but TouchWiz looks like a an iOS knockoff with widgets.

Finally someone with a level-headed reply!

Hmm, I seem to remember you use to make the same (false) statements regarding HTC. Now that you've been proved wrong there, you move on to Samsung? 🤣

And as for Apple's claims that Samsung copied 'their' design -- since when is a rectangular shape with a glass screen somehow unique? Next thing you know Apple will be suing all the TV manufacturers, because after all, a TV is simply a larger version of an iPhone. Give me a break! 🙄

I think the design thing goes further than a rectangle. They are talking about the app layout as well being four by five or what ever it is. Honestly it does look like the iPhone in many ways. I see where apple is going with this, but I doubt they will win. I see them making Samsung change the app layout on the phone, but nothing more.

I see an apple representative walking out of the court room steaming bc the judge will think they are silly for arguing about shapes and numbers and other stupid things. Samsung has a lot more innovative devices. The iphone 4's "retina" display is samsung's technology with some rediculous glass over it. Sure the resolution is great, but not that hard to accomplish. My point is that apple just thinks they are on another level and some other little company isn't going to look like them if they can help it, which they will soon learn otherwise. Apple needs to be content that they were the original, but not take it as far as trying to steal money for another company having a similar appearance.

I honestly dont think it is eagle's that play any role here. these are both billion dollar companies, not two kids arguing for fame.

I think apple is mad about that they actually do "SPEND" alot of money in their products just to see another company spend half the bucks and time and imitate their products instead of spending the money on their own R&D team like themselves.

Imagine you spending countless hours and money coming up with a product just for it to be knocked off, not only knocked off by another company, but this other company is making a killing off it as well. That would piss anyone off.

Yes I think we can both agree that the imitation is not "Laser-cut" close, but it is close enough to make you mad knowing how much tim...

Name one other industry where this doesn't happen.

It's business.

Open up a fast food burger joint and try to keep another one from moving in. It isn't possible.

Companies vie for customers by leap frogging each other with ingenuity. Apple should be proud of what they have accomplished. But they should also realize the market in which people are looking for.

I don't like Samsung. However, they were smart to see the good part of Apple and capitalize with a mix of qualities from other companies. No one said you have to be creative to make it in business. You just need to be smart and know the consumer interests.

It's Apple's turn to capitalize rather than sue. People like variety. Locking a consumer's choice to one design at ...

I can agree with you. I do think they think they are between a hard decision that needs to be made, Do we continue to ride the success of the original iPhone, or do we add another brand of phones to our line of phones?

I absolutely agree with you, they need more products in their phone line. One won't continue to cut it. I think they are afraid of introducing a new product as it will take attention from the current iPhone which is so successful to them, and I think that is why they are afraid to do so.

Its time for a new product. Don't make the same mistake RIM made/making and Palm made.

Android comes in some many flavors lol I think that is the biggest reason they "Keep" customers, because their product is not all that to me by i...

Can you name a single Samsung phone that even remotely resembled any of the named handsets before the iPhone?

You can't?

Case closed.

"Case closed"

More like "mind closed" when it comes to any company other than Apple. Fortunately a judge, not you, will have the final say on Apple's whining. 😢

Btw, had a bagel the other say that was round. Maybe the English Muffin companies should file a lawsuit... 🤣

I have a Samsung Charge and the only issue I have with it is some reception issues, but it is not the phone causing it, it is Verizon doing upgrades to LTE in my area.

Other than that, the phone works great, no lockups, slowdowns, or issues.

Um... really? If Apple wanted to eliminate Samsung from competition, all they have to do is buy Samsung... Apple has enough cash-on-hand alone to buy Samsung at full market value... nearly three times over... no litigation, no claims, no fuss. Is Apple really trying to eliminate the competition? I don't think they are... there is something else at work here.
