Stubborn Nokia

Nokia will not get anywhere if keeps tied to the past -The Glory Days of old when it ruled the mobile market-.
'...Nokia still plans to ship 150 million Symbian-based phones in the next 18 months...' and I hope these phones Nokia is talking about are feature phones, because let's be honest: A phone running Symbian (Even if it a tremendous piece of hardware) is not a smartphone.

Why Nokia hasn't worked hard enough to compete with an operating system like Android or iOS is beyond me. And with its alliance with Redmond's abomination, I behold a splendid ship sinking slowly.

Post Scriptum: Nokia is surely desperate. If not, look at the news: Nokia suing Apple again Over Patents. #EpicFail

I'm curious as to what it is you think a smartphone should be able to do that I cannot do on my Nokia N8 running Symbian^3.

Nokia N8 is a temperamental device. I wasn't able to get any signal in Hobbinton while I was able to perform crystal clear calls in Lothlórien. 😕

I wasn't able to store any Lembas on the N8 either. 🙄

well they spent a grip when they bought symbian, so of course they're stubborn to dump it altogether. it needs a MAJOR facelift, at the very least. symbian 60 is a great feature phone OS...not much else going for it at this point.
