If Sprint could put their money where their mouth is when it comes to better customer service, less billing errors, and network quality, then I would not mind the $$$ going in that direction. 🙂

Wow lucky for you, your dreams have come true! If you look at the industry ratings, you'll see that Sprint is now tied with Verizon for the number one national carrier spot on Consumer reports, as well as being the only carrier recognized as a "Customer Service Champion". They have also been noted as the best value in wireless.

There is a chance as they just received the J.D. Power award for Customer Service Champion. That makes 11 quarters in a row of consistent customer service improvement. 😁

Translation: Consumer Reports and JD Power, the two top consumer ratings researchers have given Sprint top honors--but listen to me instead. I am a nameless, faceless poster on an internet forum who could be 15 years old and completely clueless for all anyone on here knows.

Yeah, epic fail buddy.

I'm not a fan of Sprint by any means, and I think offering bill credits for signing up reeks of desperation....

But I happen to know for a fact that all of Sprint's customer service call centers are in North America, if you get a Pakistani guy it is because he is a Pakistani immigrant living in North America. I used to work for one of the companies that is responsible for Sprint's customer service so I know where all the Sprint call centers are, and there isn't a single one overseas.

Right. Like I said, you would be horribly wrong. I don't get my information from google either, but rather first hand knowledge. Stop while you're ahead, people who actually work for the company are laughing at your insistence of wrong information.

.....or its a smart move by a company that realizes it still needs incentive to bring customers back who left for once-horrible customer service.

And while they've scaled back the amount of overseas call centers they are still out there. At least one is in the Carribean somewhere. I'm perfectly ok with accents I can understand. Those guys never sound stressed out 🤣

All true a number of years ago. I experienced all of it a long time ago. What makes you say that now? Things have improved.

Well tmobile is ranked #1 by jdpowers for customer service, but sprint has made improvements but the bad thing is that it was soo horrible a couple years ago, they are still goin to get a bad rep.

I'm thinking that was a while back...
US Cellular actually got the #1 spot according to the last survey. Sprint and VZW were tied for 2nd.

Let's be real, a computer (meaning a non-manned system) generates the data of usage. Billing errors are myths, so when your bill says you went over, that’s because YOU WENT OVER YOUR ALLOTMENT of minutes, messages etc. etc. I have only ever had ONE billing error with VZW and if you’re responsible, you know it’s your fault. I had an $800 overage because of my minutes, I knew I had gone over, it was not their fault. This applies to ALL CARRIERS even Sprint! They don’t make up charges! I’ve seen errors for reps applying wrong PP or add-ons but overages and downloads, yeah, that’s YOUR fault. Most “billing errors” are exactly that, downloads and overages....

No one is putting a gun to anyones head to either love Sprint or hate Sprint.
Each opinion is an INDIVIDUAL experience and those will vary from person to person.
So if one person had a great experience with them does not mean everyone else will.
There is room for improvement will ALL carriers. Nationwide and regional.
There are people that try to abuse the system and those that get genuinely shafted by it too.
I have seen roaming charges on Sprint bills frequently when the subscriber is not genuinely roaming.
Network setting is on Sprint-Only. And the carrier does have a way of knowing from which tower it did happen on.
Now that plans include roaming who knows why this still occurs.
