Not really. A merger like that would have a large exodus of people who are dissatisfied with the changes. It'd be like Alltel/CellularOne all over again but a much larger scale.

Maybe, or could make them large enough to get their own iFruit 🙂 and suck up all the customers that are tired of vzw/at&t's pricing etc..

That is a BIG Maybe... I suppose there could be some divesting involved, who knows, even if they get within 5-10M of AT&T who may still yet lose a few Mil over the AT&T iPhone... hard to say as this likely would not happen for what a year+ after approvals if it gets that far!

Too bad this didn't happen with Verizon/Alltel. Once Verizon appeased the Alltelians with allowing them to keep My Circle there was nary a peep out of them.
