RAGE WILL ENSUE!

I can only assume that since Sprint can tease people about 2.2 coming for the Intercept but can't offer any information about Froyo for the Epic other than "don't install the developer build that leaked", that the still have absolutely no idea when it will be ready for the Epic.

Samsung delivered Froyo to the carriers at the same time. Its sprint's "personalization" of the software that is being perfected.

Its really sad that they would let 2.2 out of the stable for any Samsung device before its ready for their flagship samsung device.

Further proof the extra $10 a month means nothing.

The intercept is much closer to stock Android. The reason it's taking longer is SAMSUNG having to modify it for their crappy touch wiz UI. But blame Sprint...cuz every other Galaxy S phone on other carriers has 2.2 right?? Wait they don't cuz it's Samsungs fault.

Actually its the U.S carriers that are withholding the update. It will be released to us once they have introduced all the new phones they can in Q1 of 2011. Its all about marketing and $$. Our free market society wouldn't allow it to be any other way. SAD ISNT IT.

Sorry Mr. Socialist its Samsung not having a stable build availableyet, they dont want to go the Moment route and have nothing but problems and complaints. Our free market society does not want upset customers, Sad isnt it?

Yep, here's proof that Sansung is already having problems with Froyo on Galaxy S smartphones.

So withholding an upgrade on a device that NO ONE who has that device has the ability to upgrade yet makes absolutely zero sense.

I personally have a rooted EVO so while i applaud your intentions, more likely what you did was give the average customer a direct link to bricking their phone.

its pretty hard to brick rooting. I believe for the epic there is a one click root correct? To anyone whos scared of bricking there phone flashing the rom look up a youtube video and go step by step 🙂 should be pretty basic from that point

As a sprint employee...i am clearly more in tune with how little common sense the average person has. Or maybe that's just sprint's customers? Hmmmmm....
