How exactly is Apple evil BTW?

They pay their employees VERY well, they produce products in just about every price range from $50.00 to $20,000.00 leaving no one out, they are honest about what their devices can and can't do, they do NOT have a monopoly in ANYTHING and most importantly they haven't ever put a gun to anyone's head and forced them to purchase/keep anything.

Have you ever noticed the pressure Apple puts on the music industry has LOWERED prices for the consumer? The same goes with publishing.

I don't understand yours, or anyones beef with Apple. It doesn't make sense.

Agreed. I am not an Apple "fanboy" by any means. I don't care for Macs, and I will never own an iPhone. I just prefer the Android OS. But you can't deny the good that Apple has done in providing school systems with low-cost devices for use in the classroom. Other computer companies have consistantly failed to give a better deal, which is why they've been used in schools from the old Apple IIGS with the green screens from when I was in gradeschool, to the Macbooks my stepsister uses in highschool now. If they pick up a few loyal customers along the way, that's just good business.

Really?

Thats a pretty good price.

Will Verizon let me buy one without the MiFi?

Or could I buy them both and return the MiFi only the next day?

Or you can go to TJ Maxx asnd get one for that price. And Apple was discounting them today by $41.00

Back to the subject, this is bullshit on all sides from Moto, Apple, Nokia etal. If anyone has the slightest midgen of anything, it might be Moto, they had the first modern cell phone. Yes friends, before Nokia and in the AMPS days.

Google would be a more valid comparison than Apple.

Apple builds their own hardware.

Microsoft doesn't.
Google doesn't.

Microsoft gained popularity because they licensed out their OS to a bazillion manufactures to refine/destroy effectively saturating the market with a few really high end beautiful machines but mostly cheap crap.

Honestly, I have no complaints and admire all the forth mentioned corporations. They all employ workers and pay them well, treat them better then 90% of other companies. Provide benefits. They all innovate to one level or another, they all help with the balance of trade for our country without selling war toys to goons. So who really cares?
