Skyfire Ending Support for Windows Mobile and Symbian

Botched Transition

As the owner of a Windows Mobile 6.1 phone (Pantech Matrix Pro), I loved using Skyfire when I first got the phone, because it was so much better than Opera Mini 4.x Java or Pocket IE. Since Opera Mini (native WinMo) 5.1 came out, I've used Skyfire much less, so this isn't that much of a loss.

HOWEVER: Skyfire's handling of this transition has been horrible.

First, despite what the report says, the WinMo server farms were turned offf almost two weeks ago, with no announcement until several days ago.

Second, Skyfire's response on their own forums has taken a haughty tone of "You didn't REALLY think we were going to support your PATHETIC OLD PHONE forever, DID YOU?"

As soon as Evil Apple approved them, they rejected Windows Mobile users. No Windows Mobi users can access Skyfire so that report is so fake.
