Chase is overdraft happy, and then they will tell you, 'well, that's the contract you signed"

They are not over draft happy, you are just broke and spend what you do not have. On the other hand, Chase really sucks as a bank, they are missing a lot of features that other banks have. They do not have personal loans, direct deposit advance, free checks, student loans that you can go into the branch to check for. After Chase bought WaMu out here in Cali they got even worse. Go with Wells Fargo or Citi bank which are two great banks.

i had a WaMu credit card. after Chase bought them, they freaking closed my account! i guess those losers consider me "un-profitable". haha

that happened to me too...and i didn't get any kind of notice or reason why but i can still view the card on my acct as if it's active...matter of fact, i am going to call them, BETTER YET, i am going to go up there monday!

I hate everything about chase

They have personal loans (my car is through them)... they have direct deposit advance.. My check is always there a day early... My checks are free and Im out of school so the last doesn't matter..

Sounds like what Wells Fargo is doing with Wachovia. Ever since they took over, it's a fee for everything, and they're not honoring existing Wachovia account features, either. Plus, the service there turned to human sewage, and every month or so it's a whole new staff. I'm in the process of switching now. I hear the same thing about Chase taking over WaMu and screwing everybody over in the process in the name of profits.

Damm they did that to my mom as well, they ****ed a lot of people over thats for sure. That is why they no longer profit and will need to be bought out just to save themselves. One day its gonna be all one big as bank. Just like one day its only gonna be Android running the world. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

They do suck... We purchased our house with Wamu but of course Chase brought them out. Shortly after that we kept having billing problems with them. We would send out our payment slip and check via the mail. Chase would cash the check but for some reason it would never show up on our account as paid. And its not like we are just mailing them a check. We included the payment slip from the booklet they gave us at the beginning of our loan which includes the date, account number, name, and etc. So its damn near dummy proof. This went on for like 6 months before they finally fixed it. And that was after several phone calls from their collection department harassing me.
