That would be interesting.. if nothing else it will really show the strength (or issues) with prepaid cellular and data.

I have no issue with Criket btw. but Android phones consume A LOT of data

Yeah, Android is spreading like a wildfire. Where as Apple restricts itself to ONE carrier in the U.S., not wise.

Don't know about Cricket but MetroPCS does have EVDO in certain markets. I think this is going to go to US Cellular though.

It could work on MetroPCS's network though if flashed using their MetroFLASH at one of their stores. Whether or not picture messaging and internet would work would be questionable but voice and text would definitely work.

Cricket will be getting this phone....along with a Blackberry....I work for them and this phone was featured in our last sales blast meeting....We just launched nationwide coverage and this Android and the blackberry was the highlight of our meeting...
