Be careful with HULU make sure your on 4g when you use it, 4G is Unlimited but 3G has the 5 gig cap on the same line and 13 HULU's would wipe out the 5 Gigs....

Just a heads up

I don't have the 3G/4G modem, I have the 4G only usb modem from Clear. I don't need to be paying a whopping $70-$80 a month. I am very, very happy with my $40/mo rate from Clear that IS unlimited, AND I am month-to-month, I'm not binded with an evil contract. I don't believe in contracts with businesses, a business should earn customers not bind them, so I bought my modem for $50, my first month was $129.

Yeah, recently I watched Candyman, and the Puppet Master on Hulu. I'm love'n Hulu!!!

I just hope that Clear doesn't give up on speeds, because next year Verizon is launching 4G, I heard they're launching with speeds of 8-12mbps. And btw, I'm a consumer, I can careless about WiMAX Vs. LTE, I care about speeds, not which technology is d...

Companies to earn your business. Part of that is by giving you discounts on the device. If you don't need/want the discount- then you're free to go without contract. But just because Clear would do it doesn't mean Verizon will, so you may be stuck anyway if you really want to avoid the contract.

I went to Clear's site and I can buy a 4G modem for $59.99 with no contract. However the 4g/3g hybrid modem to purchase with no contract is $224.99. Unbelievable! I wish that I lived in a large metro area like Dallas.

Yeah, that 3G/4G modem is way, way overpriced!

Where I live they're still working on the network. Las Vegas is well covered, but Henderson, which is the town south of here, is still being worked on, 4 new towers are going online soon, and a total of 16 more in the coming months. They seem to be pro active with they're network. I hope it stays that way.

That was a $10 off promotion, I don't know if it's still running or not, but heck, even if it's not still running the modem at full retail no contract price is only $60 not bad, just to let you know though this is the 4G modem I'm speaking of, not the 3G/4G one.
