I might go as far as to say this might be the highes low-end phone out there, especially for only $50! Isn't this like the first SE phone Tmo has carried in quite some time?

No, they have carried the SE TM506 for over a year now. this is its replacement.

its a very sleek phone, the lights feature is kinda cool. and i believe there will be more colors later.

Very nice phone for 50$, has a very solid feel to it!

Looks like a branded t707.

The only problem with these lower-priced SonyEricssons is reduced battery life. Hopefully that will be fixed, and hopefully this model will also be free of T-Mobile's Internet-blocking trickery so Opera will work.

I wonder when the day is going to come when SE finally stops using their stupid proprietary charger, and join the microusb bandwagon!!!

TMo crippled this phone's ability to run Google maps? I tried downloading this to a demo in a store and a message said "invalid application". Is this because downloads are not allowed on store demos or google maps has been blocked? Why offer a phone that's got GPS and you won't let it run an app that will use GPS? Not everyone wants to pay for navigation now WTH?
