Why am I not surprised?

Its the power adapter, not the phone. There are recalls for products everyday.

that may be true, but the power adapter still affects the phone. Why would the adapter break so easily? Only thing I can think of would be they skimped on the quality of the metal for the adapter.

But I have people bringing in their iPhones every day having big problems that are hardware issues. I just wish they would have spent more time on both versions of the phone to make it less buggy and higher part quality.

lets not be dumb about this. its just a charger. and the person who found the problem probably broke it and then stuck it in the wall while they were in the shower during a thunderstorm.

When will people learn that IPHONEs are garbage. Yet the sad thing is IF Apple says they are coming out with a third verison, there will be another rush to get what? JUNK

Sucks for them, but hardly thier fault. I am sure the Power adapter "builder" makes Power Supply cords for many diffrent types of phones.

The sad part is, its another brick in the wall for a product that has been buggy as hell.

I have to agree with you. While am not an iphone fan, Power adapters have been an issue for many products. In fact, that is why they tell you to never leave them plugged in when unattended. There is the potential for over heating and fire.
