wow.. samsung has done it... Symbian OS, 8!!!! megapixel, wifi, FM radio, stereo bluetooth, it has everything!!!! man they are coming out with 8.0 mega pixel camera these days... samsung, sony ericsson.... wow... technology is getting better and better

Until they start putting significantly better optics in phone cameras it's pretty pointless to give them 5-8 megapixels. The lenses are just too small and the light metering isn't good enough to make use of that many pixels.
It's all just marketing hype. All an 8 megapixel phone camera really does it let you see in excruciatingly high detail just how bad phone camera pictures really are.

This has alot of the same features as the n95 and n96 and still does not support U.S. 3G. Im not a big fan of samsung but since nokia has free'd up symbian more phones will start to use it, which is good. This does look good but atleast to me, no U.S. 3G is a big BIG let down with phones. This is a dissapointment as is the n96. I love nokia but I'll stick with me n95 until the n96 gets cheaper and adds better U.S. support.

It won't have a 8MP camera by the time it hits the US market, probably a 3.2MP camera. Also, just because it has alot of features doesn't mean it will be a smooth running phone. We can only hope and wait .. and wait .. and wait 🤣

yea it sounds like a nice phone but you know how greedy america is...they wanna charge the highest price for the oldest crap, we're still rockin vga camera phones for outrageous prices for pete's sake. 3.2 in the u.s for that phone would be a miracle. i also agree with whats the point of 8mp in a camera phone if the lenses are not big enough. plus its a samsung, which im not a big fan of to begin with. i remember one time this $350 samsung for tmobile came out. it looked so cool and advanced so i bought it. the reception was absolute crap on it. i had it for one day and all it did was search for a signal. when i took it back and used my old motorola v300 signal was no longer an issue. i have a HTC Dash and im pretty happy with it. i have it ...

I am also not a big fan of samsung when it comes to cell phones but the other side to the camera thing is that to make a camera phone that has a good enough camera to really replace your digital camera, it would be HUGE just because of the optics involved. Above 5MP you cannot really tell the difference when taken with a camera phone. Under that and you can see a big difference between a 3.2 camera phone and a 1.3 camera phone. But from 5MP to samsungs 10MP phone not much of a difference. (yes its out there somewhere already).
