The fact that it is a copycat of a phone that was released 2ish years ago and still has the braun to win:
o Best of Show – CTIA
o Best Cell Phone – CTIA
o Best of CTIA – Laptop Magazine
o Hottest phones in 08 – Laptop Magazine

Probably means it is going to be a winner. For Sprint I really hope it does because we are hurtin'...........

Has any one heard that certain sprint employees will be getting this phone to test out next week. I was told by a sprint store that she a getting a phone.

Yes this is true we have one memeber from the store that will be train in this area just like we had one with the pearl, centro, and curve.

Someone not interested in the "power" features (Sprint allows J2ME and Sprint's content offerings tend to be better than Verizon's) is going to go to Verizon and buy the Glyde with its built-in keyboard.

Everyone else looking for a high-end touchscreen phone is going to just spring for the real thing. (I know the iPhone wasn't the "first," but if you've used the LG Prada, you'll know it was the "first" to do it right .)

I have no idea why people think this phone is going to change anything for Sprint. It's advantages over, say, the iPhone rest on 3G and GPS, and everything else ranges from slightly to significantly worse (especially if it's on par with the Glyde or Voyager.)

Sprint needs to stop being day-late-dollar-short ...
