When are these manufacturers going to start shipping phones with QUAD BAND HSDPA??? Remember... Some carriers are going to be using AWS 1700 HSDPA. 👿

finally? so the 8830 8130 and 8330 are not 3g?
...
and it came out FIRST in the USA. It also covers more of the USA.
...
People don't forget, most just don't care about EV-DO because it's only data. Only Verizon and Sprint customers get excited about EV-DO. The rest of the world considers HSDPA 3G with voice and data simultaneously. 😁
...
not everyone travels the world..most stay in the us, so who cares about worldwide hsdpa............what you said applies to about 5% of the us if that
...
Whatever you say bud. :-) If your delusions where really true, more people would acknowledge EV-DO as 3G.
There is way more than 5% of people that buy unlocked HSDPA devices to use in the US. True 3G devices are use HSDPA not EV-DO. Good luck with that though, ;-)

yeah, im talkin on a fake flipshot with fake 3g EVDO.
...
"It also covers more of the USA."
AND far, far less of the rest of the world.
...
True, but you have to also understand that RIM is a Canadian company, and at this present time, Canada has more percentage wise CDMA/EVDO then GSM then even the US. Their home and main market for BB's is North America. So I am sure, they are going to release a CDMA version of this phone. As far as 1700mhz UMTS, it will come about, but I'm sure its not a high priority.

vert true, most of the world is gsm. we were just trying to point out that blackberry does offer 3g phone already, and that the bb9000 will not be the first 3g blackberry
...
whats funny to me is while certain people rave about sprint...the rest of the country is fleeing as if godzilla were running through their cell phones.... 😁
stoked about this phone
ps sprint sucks
...
no, they are not 3g so this makes it the first 3g blackberry coming out. 😁
