When are these manufacturers going to start shipping phones with QUAD BAND HSDPA??? Remember... Some carriers are going to be using AWS 1700 HSDPA. 👿

People don't forget, most just don't care about EV-DO because it's only data. Only Verizon and Sprint customers get excited about EV-DO. The rest of the world considers HSDPA 3G with voice and data simultaneously. 😁

Whatever you say bud. :-) If your delusions where really true, more people would acknowledge EV-DO as 3G.

There is way more than 5% of people that buy unlocked HSDPA devices to use in the US. True 3G devices are use HSDPA not EV-DO. Good luck with that though, ;-)

True, but you have to also understand that RIM is a Canadian company, and at this present time, Canada has more percentage wise CDMA/EVDO then GSM then even the US. Their home and main market for BB's is North America. So I am sure, they are going to release a CDMA version of this phone. As far as 1700mhz UMTS, it will come about, but I'm sure its not a high priority.
