This wont work in the US for 3G - it kills nothing, unfortunately.

this isn't going nto do anything to the iPhone while it's on GSM, especially WGSM bands.

put it on US CDMA, now we've got a lethal threat to the iPhone

LOL, if companys wee in the business of loosing money they might put it on CDMA, seeing as only 28% of the worlds cell phone users use CDMA. lol

Most of that 28% is in the US anyway.
and what percent of US phones run CDMA? probably over 60% if not over 50%. No company in their right mind would take a katana LX right out of the box, exclusive to sprint, built for EVDO and market it for europe or asia.

Your would make the necessary adjustments and build it as a WGSM model, probably rename it, set it up for HSUPA, and sell it that way.

the point is; if you want the american consumers dollars, and american market share, build the phone for american use, put out a CDMA version and a GSM version. cover your bases.
