4G is here. heard alot about this and very excited to see it in motion. Also adding 3G to the top 100 cities that do not already have it. 😁

As posted previously, 4G has not been officially defined. Per 3GPP, LTE does NOT qualify as an official 4G technology. This is a common mistake made, even by phonescoop administrators. As stated by 3GPP, a true 4G network would support downlink speeds upwards of 1GB and extensive interface with fixed IP systems. Nothing official at this point though so that could change.

I think that LTE is more correctly referred to as "pre-4G" because the standards board hasn't actually defined what is required to qualify as 4G.
