Android 13 Reaches Public Beta

That's become the norm. It feels frustrating, but it's actually how it should work. It's a good thing that Google does annual new versions, and it's an even better thing that they have a long development cycle that gives device makers and app developers plenty of time to get ready for each new version. But it does mean a ton overlap where you're hearing about new versions over a year before you actually get them. It's annoying, but the alternative is probably much buggier Android phones.
