Motorola's 5G Moto Mod Explained
This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen
For the bulk of this phone's usable life (let's define that as 'running a current version of Android') it'll likely not even see a 5G network.
And by the time it hits critical mass, why not just buy a new damn phone? One with 5G antennae elegantly integrated instead of a chugly case.

Plus you're going to bin the whole accessory the minute you get a new phone, and chances are you won't buy another stupid Motorola.
Those early adopters who want it can get first access to Verizon's 5G and have little or no competition. When they have it it will be superfast as no one else will have it. for example, if they have 5G at work but not at home they don't have to have a big chunky phone all the time.
There's no way people who make top of the line phones will make a chunky brick like the Moto Mod so they will be constrained in battery...
