It's true there is no CDMA, but it does have band 13 and Verizon doesn't require CDMA anymore. So it's only a problem if you wanted to use it with Sprint.

TRUE but VZW requires the device to be certified...so.... the serial# will not be loaded on Verizon's network so data will work due to band 13 but you wont be able to make and receive calls

I don't think that's true anymore. We did research on that very topic for this recent article:

Verizon told us that they no longer lock out phones by serial number. They still recommend certified phones, of course, but there's no longer anything stopping you from using an unlocked phone if it supports band 13 and VoLTE.
