If Comcast was allowed to purchase NBC Universal, why should AT&T be blocked from purchasing Time Warner?

Normally I would have agreed with this measure and the same if it was with Comcast. But the real reason is not creating a bloated monopoly, but wanting to force a sale of CNN to a company which is more in tune with Fox and Breitbart.

Exactly, Trump hate's CNN, and in every other corporate interest, he has been on their side. All of a sudden, when AT&T refused to divest CNN for the merger, all of a sudden the DOJ steps in. While I am not thrilled with all of these mergers. There is no conflict or monopoly issue with it.
