per-kilobyte data charge?
"Recently Verizon also began allowing subscribers to access the music store without a VCAST subscription. A daily VCAST pass could save those subscribers looking to download music to their phones high per-kilobyte data charges."
What does it mean a high per-kilobyte data charge? If a subscriber wants to download music from the music store, don't they just pay the $1.99 for the song plus the airtime in minutes?

you are correct as far as i know, not sure where they got the kilobyte charge for downloading music, it has always jsut been airtime if you didn't have the vcast pack was my understanding as well

You can also download the song on your pc for .99 cents...

The only time KB will get billed is on a PDA device with a pay as you go plan, and none of the PDAs support music on demand (yet, keep your eyes on the Q over the next few weeks).
