I'm not sure if everyone really understands the simple logic and common sense in regards to removable batteries. People can make excuses for manufacturers eliminating them and for the most part, will rely totally on the sale's pitches that manufacturers use to validate such practice. The bottom line is this:

Regardless of price or premium status, the battery is the weakest link across the board. I have contended all along that a premium device should not be rendered useless just because of a battery issue. Thanks to the industry, it has slowly groomed the consumers to "Accept" the inevitable. What this has done, is add an additional 36 billion dollars in service for handsets within the industry. Are we really this dependant on service cen...

I agree with you 100%. The G5 certainly looks like an impressive device. And they beat everyone to market with the ability to attach accessories (something we should have had a decade ago). Well done, LG.
