which is more recognized? motorola or lenovo?

chinese purchase of IBM PC and motorola or motorola which existed for 20+ years

Which was more recognized 10 years ago in the cell phone industry? Cingular or AT&T? Cingular. Today? At&T.

You may have argued that it was stupid for AT&T to change the Cingular name when they bought them out but eventually the old brand is phased out and everyone will get used to the new one.

Not because Lenovo is so much better, but because they are discontinuing the Motorola brand. However, it matters very little. Motorola decided to get out of the handset market. Lenonvo isn't Motorola and never will be. Selling Lenovo devices as Motorola would be deceptive imho.

That's probably the worst argument you could have picked. AT&T has brand recognition going back nearly a century. They were in the cellular market before Cingular, (and interestingly enough Cingular bought out AT&T wireless), and they were there after Cingular. Cingular's 4 or 5 years of brand rec...
