I have the original ZMAX and it is a good midrange phone. But what gets me is that it is the same phone, except the screen is smaller, Battery is smaller, it comes with Android 5.1 and it is on AT&T and Tracfone. Why isbt goibg to be on MetroPCS? Doesnt make sense not have the successor on the same carrier the original came out on.
There is no point to buying the successor. I have mine carrier unlocked, rooted with the bootloader unlocked and Cyanogenmod 12.1 and it runs circles around the stick version.
