I completely agree with you. For the vast majority of folks, anything greater than 5.2" cannot be used one-handed and therefore is a no-go from the start. That 5.2" is a pretty well defined demarcation line and a good reason as to why Samsung and HTC haven't crossed it in their flagships despite multiple iterations of those flagships.

Everyone insists on comparing the G4 against the S6 and M9 but really these devices are in two different classes. The G4's competition is the Note and other large phablets, not the 4.7-5.2" smartphones.
