Cricket is owned by at&t, but Cricket is not a division of at&t. Cricket is run as a completely separate company, with its own CEO and board of directors.

That is incorrect T Bone. Cricket is run under the Emerging Enterprises division of AT&T Corporate and uses the same back end systems for employees as the mobility arm. They have a President and do not have their own board of directors anymore. Granted it has different management than AT&T Mobility, Ma Bell still controls all that happens.

Well then they must have recently updated it, because the last time I asked at&t about it, they said that Cricket still had its own board of directors and CEO. I think the plan is still to maintain two distinct brands.

Yea it's going to be 2 distinct brands with different management, but both send money and report back to ma bell.
