This ****er not only got rid of 2 year contracts, but he actually baited and successfully got and GETS all the mainstream attention to make the BIG TWO back down, and the others behind them follow.

The guy in DEAD last place makes the biggest influence? Are you kidding me? Verizon......AT&T.....where in the absolute **** are you guys to topple this guy? You caved in and now you have a FUSTERCLUCK of consumers freaking out about paying full retail for a phone.

They baited you morons so hard, that they actually won. You should have ran a campaign on how shotty their service was - instead went along with it and tried to match their bluff.

To Verizon, ATT and Sprint - you're all morons. This guy will NEVER stop trying t...

At some point they will HAVE to run out of money to pay for everyone's ETF. What they are doing now seems like a "hail mary" pass to try to jump start the people switching again. I give them credit for trying but the way they are going about it doesn't seem sustainable.

They won't run out of money because this is roughly the same amount T-mo would pay the master agent for an A credit 2 year contract line commission.
All carriers have been paying roughly this commission forever, which is where the financials for cellular break down for me.
I never could figure out how they could pay more in commission per line than they will make in profit throughout the whole life of the contract.
But this cost wont break T-mo's bank, its baked into the profit math, and besides T-mo has been bleeding money ever since they became T-mobile.

Look at how many people have switched from other carriers. The numbers are outrageous. I switched from AT&T over a year ago. The service is fine and I'm saving some money and im getting more in my plan. I switched over with 4 lines. My family all has iPhones and we pay $235.00 a month including the financing of the phones and jump on one line. The other carriers will follow t mobile because they have no choice. T mobile had showed the consumer how much we have been getting ripped off with contracts. I have no problem switching to another carrier of the service is good and I'm saving money. We are all consumers and if you can save you do it. If Verizon or AT&T comes out with something better and covers my fees with the phone installments I wi...
