For a smartphone camera I think its fine. I rather it be simple and quick, than full of features and slow (GS4). The screen size is reduced, but the viewfinder is 100% the size of the picture, meaning everything you see on the screen is going to appear on the picture. The SD card part I don't care since I don't have one on my nexus 5.
