Actually, yes, it probably is quite a big difference. You could have the best of both worlds and get a play store version of the Galaxy, though.

'Bloatware' is any software which comes pre-installed, can't be removed, and which most users never use. And by that definition, both Nexus phones and the iPhone are positively loaded with bloatware. Nexus phones are loaded up with tons of Google services that no one ever uses, and the iPhone is loaded with stuff like Apple Maps, the weather app, the compass, iMessage, Facetime etc etc etc If these things are so fantastic than surely they don't need to be pre-installed, people would seek them out and install them on their own.

Regardless of OS give me an an application store or a web browser(to allow me to install application), a messaging app, a contact app and an phone app. Also allow me to uninstall and install ones I want.

But I understand why they don't want peopling uninstall the phone app, messaging app, contact app or the application store app because the average consumer would uninstall it and not know how to fix it. There is to much bloatware on phones, and sadly because the average consumer doesn't want to educate themselves on the products they use it will continue to be the case.

inferior hardware to get rid of unwanted software. Naw I'll pass. Can root it if you don;t want it. I just went from 4.4 stock to 4.3 touchwiz because I missed some things. And the sales numbers say people don't mind the preinstalled software. Message boards are not reflective of real life.
