I don't care. Long as it's more plastic and pentile! Oh and let's not forget about the tons of gimmicky features and TouchPiss.

I consider a feature a gimmick if it has no real world application. The Galaxy Series phones has a lot of useful features the only ones that are borderline gimmick are the "Air" features the Smart Play and IR Blaster are no where near gimmick.

I do agree that they could do a much better job with the Touch Wiz interface. However, if you are going to provide criticism it would be a good idea to follow up with some concrete detail to be taken seriously 🙂.

I personally think that a lot of new technology, especially on phones, are at first considered gimmicky and un- necessary . However this is just because we've been getting by fine without it in the past .

Once we get used to a new feature , you pretty much expect in other devices and much later consider it an essential. A very vauge example of this could be when screen rotation first came out.
