What an innovative camera design

I would've never thought to do it like that. More moving parts mean more things to go wrong, though!

bummer. 🤨

It's an innovating idea.
First give 'em the chance, then judge.

Back in 07-08 I had a Samsung flip phone that had a camera that did something similar, rotate it from back to front. But the camera broke after a year because when it got put in and out of my pocket the camera always moved, but this design looks better, won't move when putting camera into your pocket.

This is the phone I'm talking about.

Yes, it does seem innovative.. but surely this isn't as good as having one for the front and one on the back.. wouldn't the two be adjusted for their distinct purposes in that case (meaning the focus would be better for each in their duties)?

Having one good camera is better since it can do double duty. What is the front camera used for? a mirror? selfies? video chat? Having a much better camera for all of those things is an advantage of this design as well as not having to pay for an almost useless component. It is a good idea I hope others will use also.

LG had it on an awesome handset in 2006 - one of their best for ATT in my opinion.
