So why do we have SMS in Voice then? Can we just get development of one or another and get MMS supported? I mean, it's only been 5 years in the waiting. SMH

Nope, Razr M. I did try it though and it's just another miss on Google's part. Unlike Voice, both parties have to have the app installed for it to work. Nice that they have MMS working, but it again makes the idea fail. They need to combine the ability to text any phone from the app like Voice and the ability to send MMS in Hangouts.
