Confusion about this offer

I think people are confused.

This is not a sale, you do not save the downpayment. That specific payment amount is simply deffered into your monthly payments. So instead of the $99 down and $20 per month, you're paying $25 per month.

This isn't a response to anything. T-mobile does not need to respond to the two other cash grab programs offered by the other carriers. Jump is a true upgrade offer, Next and Edge are not, they are just cash grabs.

Sigh... I dont really consider JUMP an upgrade offer you are still paying full retail price for a phone and that just makes no sense to me $600+ no thanks ill keep shopping ebay getting myself a $200 Note 2 in mint condition. 😛

And when it gets delivered you find it has an IMEI block becuase the person who sold it to you stopped paying their bill. You have no idea how many calls I have had like that.

Of course you're still paying full price, there is no contract and the plans are nice and cheap. You can't have a win/win scenario for customers, the carriers still need to actuially make some money.

Hahaha. No way I am using that phone right now. Just have to be smart about it and not an idiot. People are trying to rip you off everywhere including at stores. Grant it the average American does lack common sense I give you that. 😛

I assure you its a Samsung phone that I am using right now. It was brand new. Works activated awesome. There is a little secret out there where you to can get a $700 phone for only $200 ;). Now unfortunately I cant share that here over this website. But trust me where there is a will there is a way just try to use your noggin for a moment to come to this conclusion.

Sure we all know how to do that....you call your carrier and throw a fit until they throw a 'free' phone at you.....that's not really a secret.... 🙂

You're actually not paying retail with Jump. You pay a down payment and monthly payments until you do a Jump upgrade. When you trade in the phone, the amount still owed is paid off automatically.

You go on buying stolen phones on the internet, though, and don't get mad at the store reps when the IMEI is blocked and they can't do anything about it.

Dont buy stolen phones. haha it is very obvious when you are buying a phone on Ebay if it is blacklisted if you have common sense. Just like with any other third party website buy local and get to know the person you are buying from. Im not saying hey lets go for some coffee before I buy your phone but look at his ratings for selling on ebay or w.e use all the available resources to be an educated buyer. Just sharing my two cents on how unnecessary it is to purchase a phone for $600 that would eventually be obsolete.
