At this point, why even offer such an outdated device? Especially considering there will be another new model later this year.

honestly i have a Nexus 4 and an iPhone 5, and i tend to use the iPhone more since it does have less issues and i get almost 2x the battery life out of it doing the same tasks..

Sure i can download torrents on my Android phone, but who in the hell really needs that? i've done maybe one just to test it.

It's not that they do not have "individuality" but as an IT person who does not want to have to work in my things when i get home, the iPhone accomplishes that for me.

Not everyone can afford a iPhone 5. I like the iPhone 4 its great for people who just want to have an iPhone. Plus the fact that they look identical to the iPhone 4s makes it appealing.

Yeah, but it is nearly three years old already and it won't even be optimized for their network. Pointless really.

The 4 is old but it is a quality built phone. I have a 4 and it runs smooth still. People need options and Apple does not have any, actually they have 1 an IPHONE!

I know, it has looked practically the same it's whole life, same lay out, same stupid icons. Nothing really changes just the hardware and then they take a android feature now and then like the notification bar.

Do they have a trademark for it?

Android is open source so that is probably why they can't trademark, or patent it. Which is why they probably can't sue, but I'm not sure about that it just a guess.

I don't know about trademarks, but last I heard Google applied for the patent on their Notification Shade a couple years ago. They are still waiting for final approval on that, though, so they may not be able to enforce the patent until the USPTO finalizes the application and grants them the patent.

Whether or not they sue anyone once they have the patent is another matter, though.
