As goes Boost, goes Sprint...
Look for Sprint to start throttling soon, right? So, if their throttle back is 256 kbps, what's AT&T's? I don't remember.

I swear if I didn't have such a boring job I would get rid of my smartphone and have home internet, I'm so sick of these games the wireless carriers play!!! Us consumers pay a lot for our wireless bills, and I intend on using it!

I'm a security guard, it's borrring!!!

What's amusing to me is, when AT&T throttled its "top 5%" I would hit 20 gb before I got throttled. Now I'm throttled at 5.

That's why I hate those kinds of 'floating' throttles, where they throttle you whenever they damn well feel like not giving you service anymore. Top 5%? That's nice, except you have no idea where that threshold is or if you actually ARE in the top 5% when they throttle you. You just suddenly loose use of your data.
That said, I have no qualms with, say, T-Mobile's "You have 2GB (or 5 or whatever) of high speed and then we'll throttle you to 2G". At least then you can plan for, and keep track of, your data usage.

If your that sick over it, get rid of your service altogether! No one is forcing you to have a cell phone!

That's a nice attitude. We have a right to speak our thoughts, opinions, and feelings on the topic. If you're that sick of it, maybe you should stop reading forums, message boards, newspapers, or anything else. No one's forcing you to.
