Nah, I've been waiting to get off sprint for a little while now so just up last month just in time for windows phone 8. I'm excited to see what it's like. It seems like its going to be a hefty phone so thats my concern with the 920. But heck if all else fails I'll just get the 8x.

I can't upgrade until 2014.....that wouldn't stop me from buying this though if the price was a little lower....$599.99 off contract is a little steep....no thanks...I paid $399.99 for my unlocked Galaxy Nexus from Google and that is about as much as I am willing to pay for a phone....oh well...in the next few months the 920 will be obsolete anyway.....I'm sure the next generation Windows Phone devices will be even more impressive....I'll pick one up eventually....

Windows 7 is their best product yet, easily. There's no need to even buy windows 8. What is windows 8 going to improve on besides supporting a touch screen? None of my computers are touch screen, and even if they were, Windows 7 is that good that I wouldn't even spend $20.00 on a new OS. There's no guarantee something newer is better.

So far from what I have been able to use of windows 8 (2months on preview and now 8 pro), I personally like windows 8. It's faster day to day things like boot up time, etc, Its more like mac now (super user friendly, maybe so user friendly?) but the over all feel of windows 8 pro is great. I still like the windows 7 start menu and just downloaded a app to make the same windows 7 style start menu and i was happy to spend the 40 to upgrade. All my opinion of course. Try it out you might be surprised.

Windows 8 is indeed excellent...but I see no need to upgrade until it is time to buy a new PC......

Unless you have Vista!

...Which I have. It's treated me ok, I guess. I didn't think it was as bad as everyone made it out to be. I did get some blue screens, but they were all due to program and driver issues, easily fixed.

Yea. vista wasn't horrible, just slower and not super compatible. But 7 was awesome. Still worth the 38 bucks to upgrade.

The problem was that OEM's pressured Microsoft to lower their requirements for Vista, you really need at least 2 GB of RAM...but OEMs only wanted it to require I GB.....and MS gave in and certified a bunch of PC's as being 'Vista Ready' when they really weren't......

They've avoided that mistake with Windows 8....actually producing their own hardware for the first time ever....

The last time I saw a bsod Bill Clinton was president, you really need to update your data.....I've been running Windows 7 on two different computers since June 2010 and neither of them has crashed even one time.....Windows 7 uptime can be measured in years...

Hahaha....I know. I have a dual boot set up using Windows 7 on one partition and Linux Mint on the other. They have come a long way. I just had that memory of the 9x/ME/2000 days.
