Sprint Names Three More LTE Markets

Sprint picks the worst locations.

Why is Sprint choosing the least populated areas to be putting 4G in.. Major cities like New York, Tampa, San Francisco - are the ones that need LTE first, not Kansas, not small towns in Georgia.. What is Sprint thinking... I know they are based in Kansas, but nobody else lives there...

It's a new network that needs to be tested out, they need to make sure the towers are working properly and can handle traffic before they turn on the network in the highest populated markets.

Yep. Everyone does this and it should be common knowledge by now. You'll get your bigger markets once they iron out the issues.

Although the first launch was in very large metro areas, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth..

Manhattan hosts one of Kansas' largest universities and sees a lot of flow, despite being a small city. As someone who lives here and is fed up with Verizon's price gouging, I'm excited to see it.
